Spring is here! Here are some patio decorating + furniture ideas

With the weather getting warmer each day, all I can think about is how much time I am wanting to spend outside on our newly renovated patio!

I'm going to share with you some tips and furniture ideas for your spring and summer patio.

PATIO FURNITURE

This grey and white patio furniture set is from Wayfair. This specific set doesn't appear to be in stock anymore, but take a look at their other patio furniture set collections. What I like most about it is it is decent furniture for a great price. We didn't want to spend a fortune on outdoor patio furniture, but we wanted something that was decent quality.

TIPS FOR PATIO DECOR

Lush + green: With flowers and plants, you really don't need to do much else in my opinion during the spring and summer months when everything is blooming. If you don't have a yard that's perfectly okay..you can put some plants in pots/containers. If you tend to have a hard time keeping plants alive (like me) I have found that doing research online is SUPER helpful. I like finding YouTube videos that will share quick tips for how to keep plants alive, which plants will thrive the best in your environment, sunlight exposure, etc.

Add lighting: If you have an area to do this, adding string lights is the perfect touch for a backyard space. Check out my outdoor string lights DIY blog post for more details.

Bring cozy to the outdoors: Nothing says cozy more than blankets, pillows, lanterns and candles. Citronella candles are perfect for keeping bugs (especially mosquitoes) away.
