My top 3 garland picks (and how to use them in your home)

Garland is one of my favorite versatile items to decorate with during the holiday season. There are so many ways you can use garland, including:

-Down the center of a dining/kitchen table

-On a mantle

-On an entryway table

-Lining the stairway

-On a tree (i.e. wood bead or knit garland)

While there are so many ways you can decorate with garland during the holidays, there are also SO many options out there. So I've narrowed it down to 3 of my current favorites to use in 3 different ways/spaces.

Ideal space: Mantle

I love a good flocked garland, especially during the holidays. I like using this one on mantles, whether it's on top of the mantle or strung across the front like I did here on our fireplace. I just used a few tiny nails to hang it with and voila! The touch of the pine cones adds a nice natural look to it.

The Hearth and Hand garland I have from last year is not in stock this year, however I found this similar one that has the details of the berries. I recommend using this one on a table, and intertwine with your table landscape (candlesticks look great with this).

Ideal space: Tree

One of the top trends this year for sprucing up your Christmas tree is adding a cozy knit ivory garland. Here's one from Crate & Barrel that I love.
