Update your home for the spring with these decor picks

Spring is here and it's one of my favorite times of the year for giving a home a "fresh" look for the season. One thing I share with my clients is that you don't have to do a complete swap out of your decor to make changes for the seasons and holidays. Consider using some of the items you already have and fill in pieces that coordinate with the season.

Here are a few of my favorite decor picks to decorate with for the spring, and links to some of the items below:

1- Seagrass baskets have become a new favorite item to decorate with. Not only do they look good but they are perfect for storage. Win-win!

2- Add a 'pop' of color with some throw pillows. One of my favorite color palettes for this season is dusty rose pink, light blues paired with whites/cream.

3- Florals + stems are an affordable and easy way to coordinate with the season. In the spring/summer I like using dogwood and eucalyptus. I'm all about faux stems especially to save on $ but in spaces like a kitchen I love using fresh, real eucalyptus.

4- Adding a piece of artwork can really transform a space, whether it's hanging on a wall or on a ledge. I recently purchased 'The Breaker' from Deb Presutto Fine Art and love the minimalist and coastal look.

5- Pottery is so versatile and can be used year-round during all of the seasons. White/neutral pottery is great to add on a built-in/shelves, on a mantle or grouped in different sizes as a table centerpiece and can help brighten a space.

6- There's something about walking into a home and smelling a yummy candle burning that goes along with the season. Check out my favorite candle company, 320 Sycamore Candle Co. and the variety of spring scents.

Happy spring decorating! As always if you have any questions or need any design tips feel free to send me a message through my contact form or Instagram!
