Simple + Neutral Holiday Tablescape

The holidays are here! Wow, this year has flown by..right?!

Whether you are planning on hosting dinners or not, creating a tablescape is one of the easiest ways to update your home for the holidays.

I'm excited to share with you a simple + neutral tablescape that can be used for Thanksgiving and can even be used for other holidays such as Christmas with a few small changes.

Start with a natural base

First, start with a base such as this natural woven willow runner.

Begin layering

Once you have your base, add a strand of garland to layer on top of the table runner.

The one I purchased from Target last year (lambs ear with white berries) doesn't appear to be in stock anymore, however i found a similar version with eucalyptus.

Choose neutral plates

I love these white Marin everyday dishes from Crate and Barrel.

Add a 'pop' of pattern or color with napkins

This is one area I like having some fun with. Don't be afraid to choose a pattern or even a pop of color for your napkins. I chose these navy and white striped napkins and "gather" brass napkin rings from Target.

Add height across the table

Items such as candlesticks are perfect to add to a tablescape centerpiece. I picked up this candelabra candle holder from the Hearth & Hand line.

Integrate fall decor

Pumpkins, pears, cotton, pinecones are perfect pieces to add to your tablescape.

In case you missed it, here is my DIY on creating faux concrete decorative pears.

Hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving!
